QFT is a dry blend of phosphates and Quaternary Ammonium Chlorides that is useful in all areas of food processing, especially RTE rooms and processing areas. QFT is unique in that it contains an actual dry quaternary component as its active ingredient. Many competing products coat a dry inert filler with liquid quat and do not provide the true time release action QFT provides.
QFT can be sprinkled on high-traffic areas to encourage spreading by foot and forklift traffic keeping floors clean and providing a long-lasting barrier of protection. QFT can also be used at the beginning of sanitation to clean floors and prevent processing equipment from becoming contaminated with soils from the floor and drains.
Sprinkle QFT evenly on the floor before the start of processing. Sprinkle in areas of high traffic and entrances to rooms. Use mechanical action from a brush, or even an employees shoe to further spread QFT. Reapply QFT once it disperses or washes away.
