CSD is effective on oils, grease, sugary and proteinaceous soils. CSD can be used for CIP and spray cleaning of process tanks and hot milk lines in dairies, as a HTST cleaner in bakeries or a soak cleaner in food processing plants. CSD can be mixed with Detergent Concentrate when foaming applications are needed.
CIP applications: Flush pipes with fresh water to remove loose soils. Heat CSD solution to 140°-150°F. Circulate solution through pipes for 10 – 25 minutes, or until all soils are removed from pipelines. Flush lines with fresh water. Fill pipelines with appropriate sanitizer. Soak Applications: Add appropriate amount of CSD to cleaning bath. Heat solution, when possible, to 140°-150°F. Allow parts to soak for 10 – 25 minutes, or until all soils are removed from parts. Rinse parts with fresh water and follow with appropriate sanitizer. Dishwashing Machine: Add appropriate amount of CSD to dish machine manually or through powder dispenser. CSD works best when used with hot water. Follow with rinsing agent and sanitizing rinse.
