Powdered Conveyor Belt Wash

PBR is a detergent that contains a dry powdered chlorine blend with alkaline buffers. This is a low foaming product that provides super detergency with very low corrosivity and is easily rinsed. PBR is NPE and VOC free. Applying just a small amount of PBR to a wetted surface creates a concentrated detergent that can greatly enhance the sanitation process for the inside surface of conveyor belts, in drains, and on cooler and processing floors.

  • Powdered chlorine producing conveyor belt wash
  • Powdered formula distributes evenly and rinses clean
  • NPE and VOC free

PBR is designed for use on vinyl conveyor belts, but can be used as a concentrated detergent for floors, walls and other washable surfaces not harmed by chlorine. PBR can be transported safely as a dry detergent, and remains stable during storage with no loss of bleaching power.

PBR is a great addition to any alkaline cleaning procedure for conveyors. When PBR is applied to the insides of idle vinyl conveyor belts after pre-rinse, the belt can then be turned on to create action with an extended amount of detergent contact time as the belt runs. In this applied use the conveyors are run for 10-15 minutes while the employee works on adjacent surfaces. After the conveyor has been run with PBR, the conveyor is rinsed thoroughly while running. If desired, verification of a neutral pH can be used to assure rinse. Always monitor belt alignment and if the belt is on a variable speed motor the belt should run at the slower speeds with PBR and higher speeds for post rinse.
