Xtreme CIP is a caustic detergent that excells at emulsification, suspension and total removal of tough soils. This sequestrant and low foaming surfactant blend in combination with strong alkalis provides powerful soil penetration.
Xtreme CIP is especially formulated for use in craft breweries as a heavy-duty CIP and soak tank cleaner. Recommended for use in spray washers, brew kettles, lauter tuns, pasteurizers, evaporators and heat exchange surfaces.
Rinse surface to be cleaned. Prepare a solution of Xtreme CIP in accordance with Dilution Guidelines chart listed below. Heat solution as necessary to increase cleaning efficacy (up to 160°F to 180°F). Apply to surface with sprayer, brush, or soak parts in a vat of cleaning solution. Allow sufficient time for soils to be loosened. Rinse with fresh water. For CIP Cleaning: Circulate for 20 to 30 minutes at 160°F to 180°F. Rinse with warm water. Brew Kettle and Lauter Tuns: Circulate for 30 to 40 minutes at 160°F to 180°F. Rinse with warm water. HTST and Heat Exchanges: Circulate for 30 minutes at 160°F to 180°F. Rinse with warm water.
